Miss Cobie - Owner/Principal

My background in dance includes 9 Years of Training in Jazz and Tap with The Robyn Dobie School of Dance (Sarina 1998-2006). I then carried on training in all styles of dance for 4 years at Sarina Performing Arts with Miss Tracy-lee Newport (2007-2011). In that time I completed my C.S.T.D Jazz exams (up to and including level 8) and C.S.T.D tap exams (up to and including Advanced Gold Bar). When I graduated from high school, my love for dance and choreography developed and I worked hard teaching for Sarina Performing Arts alongside Miss Tracy-lee. In January 2014 I moved to Sydney to complete a full-time Performing Arts course and further my knowledge in dance and choreography. In this time I have worked with professional choreographers from all around the world and have performed for various functions in Australia and America. In 2014 I received my Certificate IV in Dance through The Village Performing Arts Centre in Sydney. In January 2019 I also completed my Acrobatics Arts Course. I have 2 wonderful little boys who are very familiar faces at our studio!

Judd - Aged 2 and Miller - Aged 10 months!

Renae is very excited to have returned to the industry to share her passion and knowledge with Creative Edge in 2022! Miss Renae has two daughters who are very much involved in the studio. Klancie is in Year 7 and Paislee is in Year 4.

Miss Chloe Micallef - Junior Education Teacher

Chloe started dancing at the age of 2 with the Robyn Dobie School of Dance as well as Sarina Performing Arts and then onto Creative Edge Dance Studio. In the 16 years that Chloe has been dancing she has completed her CSTD Jazz exams, (up to and including level 9) CSTD Tap Exams, (up to and including level 8) CSTD Classical Exams (up to and including Elementary) and plans to continue to complete the rest of her exams in the near future. Chloe has competed in the Mackay Eisteddfods over the years and as well as attended many workshops in the local region. In her 6 year of dancing with Creative Edge, Chloe has had the opportunity of being a student teacher and has won over the hearts of many of our younger students already. In June 2020 Chloe began her adventure of opening Move & Groove with Chloe in Carmila whilst still studying Grade 12 at Sarina High and graduating with Creative Edge. We are so looking forward to having Chloe share her passion with our students!
